    Hey all!

I was going through the pics on my digital from new years eve, I decided to pick some out to share with you.

These are taken from the balcony of the third floor in my parents apartment.

The exposure was set for 4 seconds.

It was very difficult to capture some decent pics, I never knew where the next one would go off.

I simply set up the camera on a tripod, and I just kept taking pics over and over again, hoping for some decent shots.

    Enjoy!

Nice pics....I hope to obtain a digital camera soon...I need to get a DVD player first.

I like the last one best. Do you mind if I copy them onto my computer? They would make a great screensaver slideshow.

    Thanks!

    Nikon Coolpix 4300

I used the Fireworks setting on the camera.
It consists of the focus set to infinity, 4 seconds exposure at f/7.6, white balance set to auto.

I love long exposure night shots. Tripods are essential so it's good to see you used one.

You want a real challenge? Try photographing lightening! I've been trying for years with no luck. A Digital would make it that little bit easier...............

A lightning? Heh, if I were only so lucky.

We have maybe one or two nights per year with thunderstorms, so my chances are limited :)
