There are so many but in the last year I have discovered 2 cover bands on Youtube that are unbelievable.

Lotus Land, a Rush tribute band that is by far the best I have ever heard. The music is perfect and when the guy starts singing it is scary how good it is.

Last Licks a 70's cover band that I would love to go see.

Still the best cover of a Rush song I've ever seen:

Very good without a doubt, especially as a solo but if you want a solo Rush guy I think this guy is the choice. Minus the vocals but talent, you tell me? This guy is the greatest musician I have ever seen.

Check out Leonid & Friends. The best Chicago tribute band ever.

Best tribute band of ANY kind I have ever heard is Brit Floyd. Amazing sound and show. Rivals the original.

    Now covering EW&F, too!

  8. Although they do some original stuff , Lake Street Dive does some of the most incredible covers I have ever heard. Four really talented musicians that definitely put their own spin on songs but some really cool stuff. Rachell has an awesome set of pipes and Bridget Kearney is killer on stand up bass.
I'm a bit of a 'puter dud and haven't figured out how to load videos but there (oh wait , that's not right) their (crap , that's not it either) they're all over You Tube.

Wow! After watching a few of their videos, I agree! It was Chicago that got me playing trumpet many moons (half a century!) ago. This brings back some awesome memories.

If only all cover/tribute bands were this good!

Amazing! These videos have really reignited my love of music. I hope they do a more extensive US tour next time around.

IMO, they just don't make 'em like that any more. Now get off of my lawn!

For me YYNOT gives Lotus Land a run for their money.
