My band is adding another cover song, right now we have Sharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top and Paranoid by Black Sabbath. We're a Hard Rock 3 peice band. Do you have any suggestions?

How about Sunshine of your Love or White Room by Cream. Born under a bad sign would be a good one too!

How about some Motorhead, Deep Purple, The Who, etc? There are so many possibilities.

Would you be willing to do something that is played by a band with more then one guitarist?

  4. Think 3 piece songs by Rush, Triumph, Van Halen (lol) etc...

    +1 to Ace Of Spades!

Hard To Handle always seems to go over big with us.

Van Halen "Jamie's Crying". One of the best guitar licks ever.

I have a three piece rock band that covers six decades of a very wide variety of music. We are all lead and harmony singers though too which helps. Try adding something by The Kinks, Neil Young, or Lynyrd Skynyrd for a few easy to learn quick songs.

  17. TNT by ACDC and also be covered by a three piece. Maybe some Motley Crue?

  18. If your guitarist can play slide, why not try George Thorogood's "I drink alone." That's one kick-ass number.

Good call! I heard that on the radio on the way home from a gig on Friday and my first thought was, "why in the world aren't we playing that?"
