Covering Pantera this weekend

  1. Anybody else's band doing a Dimebag tribute? Mine's doing 2 sets of Pantera covers.

I would dig that tremedously. But my band is kinda lame.

I'd be into it, but I don't think our drummer would do all that well at it...

Make sure to play Hollow. That song is awesome. :bassist:

  6. ^Ditto.

You should also play "It's Where You Come From" (one of the 2 'new' tracks on the live album they released). It's an amazing song. You better have a hell of a guitar player if you're covering all that Pantera, but if he can do it....I WANT VIDEOS!!!:D:D:D:D

  7. The setlist is supposed to be a surprise, but I'm guessing that nobody from Ames is reading this (except maybe for Corwin81), so here it is:

    THE GREAT SOUTHERN TRENDKILL
    A NEW LEVEL
    WALK
    REVOLUTION IS MY NAME
    I'M BROKEN
    FLOODS
THE UNDERGROUND IN AMERICA / SANDBLASTED SKIN

    break

    HELLBOUND
WE'LL GRIND THAT AXE FOR A LONG TIME
    CEMETARY GATES
    [email protected]$#ING HOSTILE
    MOUTH FOR WAR
    SLAUGHTERED / 25 YEARS
    STRENGTH BEYOND STRENGTH > DOM/HOLLOW

It was a lot of stuff for me to learn having not listened to Pantera much previously.
