All of my basses have either EMG or Bart pickups in them,If I glue thin wood veneers over the tops of them will it drastically affect the tone/vol. output???

    No.

  3. Nope, wood does not affect the magnetism, nor is it electrically conductive.

The only thing to be concerned about is if your veneers force you to excessively increase the overall distance between the pickups and the strings. Thin veneers shouldn't be a problem, I would think.
