After all, what will the kids have to play in 10 years, more Lynyrd Skynrd?

    Both, in separate bands.

Except, my originals band does a couple of covers too.

And I also play at church. We do some originals, some recent praise and worship stuff, and go all the way back to hymns from the 19th century.

How about mostly originals. I don't really gig anymore, but I'll go to a jam or open mic on a moments notice. Open mic nights, or parties with my former bandmates will have lots of originals, Jams with almost anybody else turn into cover night.
