I used to be on an inboard boat forum, and guys would post deals they would find on CL, there was a dedicated thread to it.

Does such a thread exist on here for basses? Or is that a no no due to the classified section here or something?

I saw a decent deal on CL and thought someone may be interested in picking up the bass in question....

I know man, I just bought my second upright, and my wife is already pissed at how much room I'm taking up in the bedroom with two. I saw this and said something to her, and she said "Can you live in it?"

I figured that was a hard no.........

Lmao, for sure, but if gotten for the right price, could be a good bass! I know some folks really dig these Epis. I've never played one, so I dunno.....

I was gonna hit "like" but then I realized I didn't really like it... that $200 bass is just in Toronto! Although I wonder if it isn't supposed to be $2000 as it looks from a distance to be a carved top..

I'd imagine you're right, because that one is gone, and there's now a stentor carved top on the site for 1800....

First I've heard of a Kay flatback.. :D Maybe someone replaced the back with a piece of ply from the hardware store? Interesting tailpiece saddle too.

It's a middle-period M-1, back replaced with a flat sheet. Kay never built a flatback.
