Ive gotten in the bad habbit of not using my pinky, so well, I dont.
  2. Well, if you want to correct that then slow down your playing and take time off to practice using your pinky. What I'm working on right now is when I take a finger off a fret, only holding the finger a little bit over the string, rather than letting it stick up in the air or whatever.

So yeah, work in using all four fretting fingers... but then again, look at Rocco...

I don't use my pinky ever. But that's because I don't really have a pinky on my left hand.

Yes, the artful pinky...hmmm. Oddly enough, I get the best vibrato with it on bass and often favour it over the ring finger. With g**tar I seldom use the pinky, much like old blues style.
