It's pretty crazy... http://blog.mlive.com/chronicle/2008/07/slain_realtor_beloved_by_frien.html http://blog.mlive.com/chronicle/2008/07/update_suspect_73 _faces_murder.html I graduated with Troy from Mona Shores. We weren't friends, but we were friendly and more than acquaintances. We had classes together, friends in common... We even exchanged several emails about a year ago after another classmate who was a close friend of mine died. The guy was arrested about three blocks from the house I grew up in, and from the look of it on the map, next door to a house I spent a lot of time at. It's just crazy. Troy was a great guy - one of those people in high school who was friends with/got along with everyone.
What is this world coming to...we just got word that a woman who I worked with for 7 years and the aunt of one of our best friends was just beaten to death by her estranged husband before he took his own life. It happened not far from my house.
That kind of stuff that close to home is crazy isn't it? Certainly there's nothing new under the sun, but this kind of crap seems to happen more and more doesn't it?
