Creating Fills

  1. Do you usually stick to one theory? What are some patterns that are frequently used? Thanks for the help.

    I just try to put fills in where I hear them. It sounds bad when you try to overplay things. I just remember what key Im in and try to let the sounds come to me.
     
  3. I totally agree. I'll practice normally, without any new fills. Then go through some separate parts looking for something that sounds good. Finally I put it all together. I take out whatever sounds bad to me.
