creme or black?

    so ive decided to get the dimarzio model p's in my 08 american standard p bass. its olympic white , rosewood fretboard, and i switch pickguards every once in a while with black and tortoise shell. what would look better creme or the black covers? :bassist:

    Go with black. Unless you like creme. In that case: go with creme.

    I think the creme ones scream "1970's", so if that is cool to you, then hit it. If you don't like music/gear from the '70s, and don't want people asking you if your bass is from then, then go with black.

    Personally I think creme pup covers ROCK.

    I think creme would look cool with tort, but black on black.

    I got a creme model P in my sage green / white PG MIM P. Looks pretty good. Id love to add a jazz pup to the bridge, also in creme. I might have to dye the white pickguard a bit to make it match better.
