fire away. the neck is obviously flawed, so ignore it.
and yes, it'll be a headless.
link doesnt work.
I dont want to login to view your photos.
sorry bout that guys. its all better.
Well I don't like the body style personally.. so I can't really critique it..
doesn't seem like there is enough lower horn to play comfortably sitting down..
I like the body shape very much.
Ill critique that its a pretty ****ty drawing, why wouldnt you draw something decent and worthwhile that isnt a scribble on paper then submit it so you can get opinions?
as nice as it is to know if you like it or not, please specify any items which may need changing or that you particularly like. thanks
it'll help the design process
reminds me of my bass, just a bit more pointy and less head.
any reasoning, or just, a out of left field ugh
I'm not a headless horseman, but it's nice. I like the body. When do you plan to build or have it built?
well, i'm presently making a fullscale template in a cad program. and gathering materials (trying to cut costs everywhere). i have a whole thread for it in the luthier's corner. check it out:
if i get everything together within a month, i may be able to finish by summer. at least finish the carving and be ready for assembly and oil finishing.
Keep us posted. I'm really interested. Good luck.
No need to be so condecending/aggressive, man. If you don't like it - DONT POST!
thanks. right now i'm trying to decide if i want to go headless graphite neck, wood neck.
or regular neck, with a head. haha
I just really really don't like the headless look. Just looks like something is missing... wait thats because there is! Just looks awkward to me.
I really like the body shape. Good Luck!
Not bad...One thing does tend to stick out for me though. The part of the body where your arm rests is about the same distance from center as the top horn's outermost part (hopefully that made sense to you). It looks to me as if it should be bigger, or the upper horn should be sleeker. Otherwise, I like the design.
I sense a Vigier-ish vibe. I like it.
