Crown XLS1000 Power Amp,GK 2001RBP rig?

    I recently forked over some cash for a Crown XLS1000 power-amp along with a Furman Power Conditioner.

    This is my first time using a power-amp but is there anybody out there that knows the best configuration for this thing? I have 2 1x15 cabs and I'll soon have a GK 2001RBP pre (but I have a Sansamp to fiddle around with right now).

    I don't want to blow out my speakers and would like to know the best configuration for this thing. I'm going out to buy a speakon cable tomorrow.

    Easiest is simply to run one speakon out from each channel to each cab. As far as blowing cabs is concerned, just listen and turn down if the cab starts to distort. If your cabs have both in and out, you can also daisy chain them off one channel or bridged (amp>>cab 1>>>cab 2). Remember if you want to get the full power bridged you need a special cable.
