CTS pots on a SX (ESSEX)

    Yes I have done a search....


    now, will they fit?

    I have a PJ bass

    You'll need the small mini pots. If you use the full size pots you'll need to enlarge the lower end of the route for the last pot to fit.

    i just replaced the pots in mine.
    normal sized pots are tight, the cavity is just too small.

    I just replaced all the pots in my SX P/J with stock pickguard and had to enlarge the route to get the last one to fit. For what that's worth.

    Pretty sure CTS makes mini pots that will fit without mods

    Installed CTS linear pots in both volume positions, no problems. Great pots! I did have to ream out the mounting hole in the control plate, however, to get the shafts to fit through.

    Try a .068 Orange Drop capacitor when you rewire ...
