Hi i am new to Cubase but have worked with Pro tools, Digital performer, Reason and a few lesser known programs.

    long story:
i recently began recording my bands album in cubase. all the durms have been tracked and in order to do the guitars and vocals there are a few edits i need to get done. i know how to cut and paste audio but i dont know how to get cubase out of grid mode. i can only cut and paste from the tempo points. we tracked the drums "live" with no tempo or click tracks so i cant really edit it much when i have to follow the grid.

    Short story:
How do i get cubase out of grid mode?

ive searched a bit for this, have been watching the Demystified dvd all morning and still cant find anything. im posting this on TB because the last time i had a cubase issue i posted it on both the cubase help forums and the presonus forum and got little to no help over the course of a week. i posted it here and got a real easy answer in a few hours.

    any help is appreciated, THANX!

There should be a "Snap on/off" toggle button.
