I'm having my luthier install a ramp between the pups and possibly a thinner one between the neck and p/u because I find that when I double thump/pluck my fingers get caught alot. He said he could do it in curly or birdseye, I'm thinking birdseye, because I've been jonesing for a bass with birdseye fingervoard forever!

I'm taking it in tomorrow, what do ya'all think?

I think curly would match up better with quilt.

Yeah I already thought about that.,... I really love birdseye though, I,ll see what he think when he sees the bass and maybe he'll have some sampled to show me.
