Custom 5-String Wood Combinations?

    Hola Folks,

    If any wood afficionados out there could be so kind as to compare and contrast the likely tonal characteristics of these two 5-string bass wood "recipes" for me, I would appreciate it.


    Bubinga Neck+Macassar Ebony Fingerboard+Mahogany Body

    and

    Maple Neck+Wenge Fingerboard+Black Korina Body

    Some of you may know black korina by the name of "black limba."
