Custom 7-string To Be!

    Hey everyone

    The time has come, and i'm getting a custom bass! He's woodworker (cabinets and dressers and such) and he's started building basses lately. (pic soon).

    So he's the specs so far.

    Jazz Style
    Singlecut
    Bolt-on
    7-String
    Maple Body
    Figured Walnut Top
    Maple Neck
    Ebony Fingerboard
    Two Bartolini Jazz Pickups
    Active
    Volume/Blend/3 band EQ.
    Bridge and Tuners haven't been decided. Maybe Gotoh.

    I'm more pumped than you can imagine :D:D

    Wait til you see it photoshopped(assuming someone is willing; I dunno how :rolleyes: )w/7 strings- the additional width will change the proportions, the upper horn might look 'right'.

    Yea pretty much. I talked to him last night, and we concluded we're not going with the Jazz. It's going to have alot of dimensions like a Conklin. But singlecut. It's 2 1/2" at the nut and 4" at the 24th fret.
