SOLD Custom American Fender P/J 5 String - Perfect Condition

This is a recent US made Fender P5 that has been modified with an additional Nordstrand Jazz pickup in the bridge position. It also has a new Hipshot bridge in place of the original stock Fender bridge.

It's totally passive with stacked pickup volume controls and a shared tone control. The mods were very nicely done and there are absolutely no issues with the bass. As you might imagine, the bridge pickup makes the bass much more versatile tone-wise. You can dial in just the right amount of midrange "burp" with the additional Jazz pickup.

There are no dings, or dents and only very minor signs of having been played. It will ship in it's original TSA style case with all the normal case candy.

I don't know why Fender doesn't offer a P/J 5 but until they do, this is the next best thing. Actually it's probably better because the Nordstrand jazz pickup sounds better than a Fender Noiseless pickup would.

Yeah it's a nice one. With the Hipshot bridge and the Nordstrand pickup installed it's a whole lot of bass for the price.
