Custom bass body from Warmoth?

Is there anyone who can give me tips on how to design a custom body? I'm extremely unsatisfied with the Gecko 6 body shape mainly because of aesthetics, and I want this bass to be something I can keep, because I'm going to be a broke college student pretty soon, and Warmoth's don't sell too well anyway.

Here's a rough idea of what I want:
-Either a Thunderbird body shape or a Custom T shape (still deciding on that part)
-Neck pocket to accomodate a gecko 6 neck

Additionally, I don't think I want to use a Gecko 6 neck, again mostly out of aesthetic reasons, which is really too bad, because those necks feel just perfect. Does anyone know if Warmoth makes custom necks? I'm thinking about something like the Steve Bailey neck design.

It would probably make more sense to just email or call them since they would have definate answers. They are very knowledgable and helpful, at least they were for me.

I emailed them a while back about custom bodies, and they told me they wouldn't do anything unless I supplied a scale drawing.

make yourself a cheap mock up body out of some pine or plywood then bolt on the neck to get a decent idea of how a design will translate into a finished product.
