I know there has been a few threads on where I can make custom basses but no matter where I look I can't find one that has a batwing headstock(as seen on the accu-bass by epiphone.) If someone knows where I can get a custom bass with a batwing headstock option, Plz tell mel. I'll be happy thx.

A true custom builder will make any kind of headstock you want, as long as it isn't copyrighted.

o boy i think it might be copyrighted. It might by back to Plan A for me if no one else could help. Plan a was buy a an accu-bass for the body and scrap the rest.

Wait a minute. Do you want the body, or the headstock?

I mean the headstock. As far as I know it's the design refers to the headstock. Can be found on some Epiphone guitar/basses.

Um so why don't you buy the Accu-Bass then, and if you want something special, install the pups or bridge or what ever you like on it?
  7. I'm confused. Are you wanting a bass built that has a headstock like that, or are you looking for a neck with a headstock like that to build your own bass?

Stop throwing that crap at me, I've already warned you before.. don't make me taunt you again...

Whats the obsession with having a bat headstock.. sounds kinda goofy to me

Yeah, bat wings are very thin and flimsy - you want some nice chunky wood for a headstock - much better! ;)
