Heavy flake project for me on this one. It's silver flake and then I added a red candy coat to it. The neck has been stripped and is oiled vs the gloss finish. It feels great! Passive electronics, good frets and plays great. Factory wiring VVT...personally I like the bottom coil rolled off just a bit. The only thing that I would like to mention is that the candy is just a bit lighter near the top horn. I tried to capture it the best I could and you will never see it with a strap. $325 and split shipping. I can add a gig bag for $25 or a polyfoam case for $45.
That bass is cool I have never seen a custom paint on an OLP I did see a HH cheryburst for sale it was 350 bucks. How are the OLP basses
Thanks! Overall they are great budget Stingrays and I think finishing the neck in an oil make a huge difference. The action is good. If I was going to keep it I'd probably swap to CTS pots.
And sold locally to the a cool bass player in Kerosene Alley. Thanks all...up next a Burple Burst over flake.
