custom fender help

    hey all, I need some help here. I just recently picked up a fender jaguar body online, at ebay. its just the body, unpainted, not even cuts made for pickups or electronics. its just wood, cute in the shape of a jaguar. Im thinking Im wanting to put a short scale neck on it, get some P pickups on it, and have a screaming bass. here are the questions...

    where can I get a good short scale neck?!
    what P pickups do you recomend?
    what bridge would be good?

    PS, YES, a bass neck will fit on this body, it just has to be a short scale neck. Ive already checked it all out.

    i know youve probably heard this b4 but ive seen short scale necks on warmoth's website b4. By the way if u get it all worked out it sounds like a real real cool bass. I'm not a big fan of short scales, but it sounds real real cool. What color u gonna paint the body, i'm think daphne blue or surf green. well good luck.

    i think warmoth.com has them, cant remember, if not you could always call/write to fender asking them about a short scale neck, the music master basses are short scale, and i think squire is making them now, so you should at least be able to order one thru fender if they are still in production.

    EMG's make a good pickup, as do basslines and DiMarzio. Id go with a badass bridge or a big meaty gotoh.

    btw, this thread would probably be better off in setups

    yes, im proud of my bainchild. Im thinking sonic blue, sea foam green, or candy apple red. of course, matching headstock. but I NEED A NECK FIRST!!
