Custom K&K Pickup and Preamp for sale

A friend of mine who does not have internet access asked me to post this. He's seliing a K&K Double Bass Max (two channel version of the bass max) plus K&K preamp/blender for $200. This is the exact same pickup I use without the added Trinity mic, and I can honestly say that it's my favorite pickup I've personally encountered so far. The nice feature is the ability to blend the signals from the treble and bass sides of the bridge any way you like to compensate for the inherent tendencies of your bass, strings, room, etc.

He's selling because, as he puts it, he's too lazy to carry around the preamp and is going to purchase a single Bass Max so he can go the one cable route. BTW, when I pointed out that if you plug a mono cable into the stereo jack, you only get the signal from one side or another anyway, he admitted that this was so, but he didn't want to waste the preamp purchase. Anyway, a highly recommended pickup (just ask DONOSAUR if you don't believe me). Let me know if interested.
