I just finished modifying my bass with some new pickups. The only problem I have is that there is no standard pickguard for it now. I've looked up random places online. Does anyone know of a good, reasonable, hopefully cheap place that will make me a custom pickguard. I dont have alot of cash to spare. Thanks so much.

    | think the best cheap thing to do is get a peice of plastic and a peice of papaer, lay the paper on your bass, and trace where you want the pickguard to be, then after you get it the way you want set the [cut] paper over the plastic and carve it.

it is not unlikly that it will cost $50+ for a "custom" pickgaurd.

I'm sure he can help you out (for cheap). He helped me out with a custom Jazz bass 5string pickguard (B/W/B) for $27.00 including shipping.

I may need to have a custom-shaped pickguard made. I've been wondering if I could have someone else make it. I imagine I'd have to ship the bass body too.

Otherwise, I'll have to make it myself. :meh: I'm no good with a knife.
