Well, the search is on again. I'm looking for somebody to custom make me pup covers, and knobs. I've tried Roger at THG, but it's been over 4 months now, and even with repeated emails, I get no replies. Geoff? want to make a go at it again? I may not need them to be so thin this time, as I'm going to route for extra pups. So they don't have to fit into the existing holes, instead they'll go into their new holes. If anybody can recommend somebody, I'd really appreciate it. I've had these nords for a while and it's frustrating just having them sit here not being used.
+1 Hey Kori, I've got a 6 string set of fat stacks that need covers as well. Roger was going to do them for me, but when I finally got them and emailed THG, I got no reply. From what I've read, they get pretty bogged down with work periodically. What set do you have laying around? BTW: love the Multicomp!
I got a set of custom overwound Nords 6 split coil J's. Originally I was going to replace my barts. They're made to fit in the same dimensions, except, the covers have to be cut fairly thin, which makes it tricky. This was in June. Oh well. I sent another email to Roger. I'm still looking to see if somebody else can do them, covers, and matching knobs. Because I'm not sure when he'll get back to me, if at all. off topic: The multicomp is a great pedal. I sort of wish I didn't sell it. I saw a Compulator for sale, and tried to grab that, but I was too late. Oh well. I'd rather have you using the multicomp, then have it sit on my desk collecting dust.
The nord measurements are: The dimensions are 4.625" long for the bridge pickup and 4.475" long for the neck pickup. Both are .6" wide. The external bart (96X66J1-B) measurements are: 22mm x 130 mm x 23 mm.
