Custom Shop ‘55 PJ Bass

    412D8DF1-542D-4ADD-8533-2139ECF28BD8. Does this bass use concentric pots to operate the separate pickups?

    Yes. Chrome knobs with black rings.

  4. I love the look, that's a beauty. BUT, for those who would like this format on a more cost effective price point, the Fender "Cowpoke" bass is essentially the same exact bass at a fraction of the cost. While I would never dissuade anyone from buying a Custom Shop bass, folks digging this bass with a less than CS budget can start looking there. The only differences beside of course the price are build quality, control plate, pre (the Cowpoke) and body wood. Significant differences sure, similar sound, look and feel. I've just reinstated this one for gigs.
