I purchased this bass from a wealthy entrepreneur in Poland who was "downsizing" following the purchase of a custom ordered Fodera to maintain domestic tranquility (read, wifey)…

It arrived with flatwound strings which it performed well with. It has new R. Cocco roundwounds on it now.

I truly remarkable instrument with quatersawn maple neck, most responsive truss I've ever encountered, lightweight ash body (7.5 pounds), frets as new- in fact, the instrument presents as new. Long discontinued Wilkinson adjustable Japan made bridge... Split coil Lollar pickup... Just GREAT!!! Feels better than many Sadowskys I've had opportunity to play. Great playability and tone!!

$1795.00 shipped in the lower ConUS…

This thing will torch most basses- especially Fender style ones...
These basses offer a tremendous quality... This one is way higher than stock and a Stupid Price, I might add... I need the money Stupidly… :)

    EDIT, 06/08/19:

I cannot overemphasize the departure from the "norm" of this bass versus a stock model. The guy I bought it from has an extensive collection of great basses and, more to the point, several super nice custom ordered Mensinger basses. I believe he is tight from a customer standpoint with them due to previous orders and proximity... This is a KILLER CUSTOM SHOP Maruszycyk- (Thanks Adrian!!)

It is underpriced at what I have it listed for... I am just going to do the Status Graphite fretless/MJT device I have... If you've not owned a Status Graphite neck on the right body- OMG!! That's all I can say!!!!!

Great question! I, meant to put that in the listing but life gets in the way...LOL!
It is the 1.5" that everybody craves! Questions like that make me pause and reconsider selling it at all. LOL! Truly fantastic bass!!
Not to be a hard sell but, it is incredible!
Has a nice gig bag too.

I know the string mounting fashion at the tuners may look odd to some... I learned that way from an article in Guitar Player magazine years ago featuring Johnny Smith, legendary jazz guitar player. If they are they're strung like that, they will hold tune like nobody's business. Comes in real Handy if you get a little wild. Luckily, I have not gotten gotten wild with this one. Some people call it getting Wild, I call it a sling blade. LOL

Pre-BM sale! I have my piss poor vision set on a trek 7.7 bicycle. I am willing to go as low as $1,100 shipped on the bass at this time... time for something to take a bullet for the team. If you would be so lucky, please drop me a p.m. to lock in on this mighty fine animal/machine... good luck to all and to all a good night!

Upon reflection, there's more to life than just basses. There's also girls and bicycles, to name a few. LOL

Why is this such an incredible value? What should it really be going for? Just curious.

Well, for perspective, in the UK any given purchaser of one of these basses seems to acquire more than one- just an incredible value! What I know to be true, is the per capita income in Poland is markedly less than surrounding countries. Neighboring Germany makes far more money per capita. Hence, the deceptively low price for a new one. A new stock model hovers around 15 to $1,600. Used, in the UK they have around a thousand to $1,100. This particular model, was not spect from their web page. You can't make this model from their web page. This was a special order custom shop model. It more likely is worth in a neighborhood of 16 to $1,800. Problem is, people in the US are not aware of the quality of these. They're not on the racks for people to try. I can say this, it is amazing. I don't know what else to say. There's a lot of stuff out there but this is amazing. Thank you for your inquiry

Sorry about any typos. I have given myself over to talking into my telephone. I am a hunter and Beck diaper. I am a hunt and Peck tiger. I am a hunt and Peck typist. I'm about to surrender and start typing again. LOL
