    Hi

I was thinking about putting 2 D-tuners on my bass (for the E and the B sting). Is this a good idea? Those hipshot detuners will not work, i think, because there isn't enough place to 'flip the switch' for the E-string.
So I was thinking; are there Dtuners which can be installed on the bridge (or bridges with detuners on them???)

    Thanks

Are you sure about not having enough room for a Hipshot on the E string? If not I would make sure because I feel that the Hipshot D-tuner is a great product and I like mine a lot.

I know there are D-tuners that are installed at the bridge because I once played a Hohner that had one. I don't know who makes them or where you can buy them. Ernie Ball makes a model of guitar (maybe the EVH) that has bridge detuners.

Hipshot will make you a detuner with an extended lever to clear the B-tuner. Or maybe look into spending a small fortune on a Steinberger trans-trem.
