I have a Mesa D800+ paired with a Subway 115 and yesterday I noticed while at a gig it started to peak often the led stayed on the entire time. I’m wondering if this is normal or is there anything i can do differently setting wise @agedhorse hopefully you can give some insight.

Which LED, the input or output?

What eq and switched filter settings are you using?

Ok, these settings really indicate that you need more speaker to achieve the volume you are looking for. How does it work with the two cabinets?

(I'm also assuming that your bass doesn't have an active bass control that's turned all the way up.)
