Da Maestro: Ken Smith CR vs. Peavey Cirrus

    I like comparing the two videos even though the Ken Smith video was meant to show the range of the bass while the Cirrus video was him playing a song. Overall, I do think the Cirrus can get more aggressive than a Smith because it has a stronger preamp. The Smith, however, probably does mellow a bit better than the Cirrus. It has been over twenty years since I had a Smith and I have sort of forgotten the tone. As for my Cirrus, I recorded one short video that really captured its tone and I do miss it.:)
