Does anyone else have trouble with the action on their Fender Precision when they use medium guage Dadarrio Chromes. I have the bridge lowered all the way down and it still seems a lil high the action for my taste. Are these strings supposed too be a little higher off the fretboard then roundwounds? Plus they feel i little stiff. I have the neck completley level also. Any comments welcome. Thanks Growler571

Different strings have different tensions. When you switch strings, differences in tension can change the height of the strings above the fingerboard/fretboard (so-called action).

The solution is usually a truss rod adjustment.
