Right now, how do these two compare in terms of brightness, slappability and life. I'm looking for a deep punchy growl, that when I tune down to D, still retain some tension, but still flexible enough for standard stuff. I play finger style about 75%-25% (compared to slap) on a fender jazz. Many thanks.
I have tried tones of strings, unfortunately never tried the Labella's though, but I really like the D'addario's and use them on many of my basses.
