I was wondering if anyone can tell me how the D'addario flatwounds sound after playing them a few weeks? i have a couple sets here and a set already on my ric4003 but to me they are a little to brite for my taste..do the mellow after a few weeks like the TI flats..i know i cant stand new TI's but after a few weeks they sound nice. So far the D'addario flats sort of remind me of the TI's..also was wondering if anyone uses the D'addario halfwounds and what they think of them? how do they compare to ghs halfwounds(brite flats)?:meh:
  2. I had D'Addario's on my old precision and I remember them as pretty mellow, I think you just have to wait a little longer for them to set in properly.
