Thats last one is in the parking lot, some poor souls truck was on FIRE, whole engine compartment, tires in flames, was kinda scary really. Wish I had gotten a better shot, but I wanted to get in my car and get it away from there asap hehe.
thanks for the pictures!
Great pictures. I am really impressed with some of those Peavey basses.
The Dallas show looks much better than the Nashville show. The Nashville show made me feel dirty.......
it looks like it was a fun event!
the clear winner for me was the lefty on the end...too bad i'm not a lefty...or rich
What kinda bass is that? I didnt notice at the time. Is it an Aria?
Dude, a Musicman Sterling is the same price as the Roscoe in one of the first pics.
It's an Exotic bass (literally )
Thanks so much for the pics. I really wanted to go, but an 8+ hour drive is a bit much for me.
yeah, i don't know either, but i really like that body
Hey, I see Bob from Bass Palace in the background of one of them. He's alive!!!
Great photos. I can almost hear the reverby mishmash of music store licks when I look at them.
What a show. I think the MPG will be visiting Dallas next spring with a few basses.
AHHHHHHH!!! This Warrior is sick!!!
I have one with the same pickup configuration and it kills!
I'm digging this one too. I'm a 4 string guy.
The lefty in question is an Xotic.
Juneau, thanks for uploading all those pics -- and good to bump into you at the show. Do you have a pic of Pete's 7-string? For me, that was the STAR of the show! WOW! Unbelievable bass!!
Yeah, that bass is an Xotic brand bass. Looks like a ziricote top.
Matt P, Bob was there. I did not stop by because I didn't want to get yelled at. The one time I looked, he had no traffic there. Perhaps he had some business another time(s). Hope to see you or your basses at a future show. The Level 5 is a great bass -- I speak from experience!
I didnt shoot any of Pete's stuff at the show cause I already had pics from the shop. You can see those over at www.skjoldplayers.com. There is a thread for the 7-string, and another for that Afzelia burl.
This is the one specifically.
This....is a killer bass! The owner is going to be very happy.
Aside from the guy digging in his nose down around the 13th picture, nice photos!!
I was waiting for someone to notice. I didnt notice myself until after I posted the pics hehe.
thanks i thought they were just describing it on the paper
it'd be like a car company naming themselves "fast"
Cool pic's man, Thanks for posting.... I really regret not making it out this year. :scowl:
Man oh man...
Pete w/ the geri curls and now a pointy goatee? Pretty soon-look out leather chaps.
Its great to see the "blue jeans" bass that was at rockin robin for a while out and about. That Skjold is a real player
great Pictures Dave-- many Thanks, the shows appears geared torwards our "rich" friends
I liked the Ritter the most.
