I just joined a band, so I need to upgrade my rig.

I just can't get a better deal than theirs on a GK Neo 1001/212 combo. Can't do it. It's too good a deal.

Why is this a problem? It's not, obviously.

But I'm looking at options and variety. I like SWR too, but any used head or cab, any scratch and dent, any financing options I look at still doesn't measure up.

I just found a sweet deal on Ebay for a 1001 in a rack with a tuner and power conditioner, but when I factor in what it would cost me once I get an amp, RMC audio's still on top.

So the only thing I'm waiting on is my credit application.

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with that expression. Are you implying I'm drunk? ;)

Dude, you know there's ladies out there who do like thrash metal. I can't say what they look like or whether or not they're tipping the scales at a deuce and a quarter, but I'll entertain any lady for an evening.

I'll stand on stage and hit the strings on my bass with a stick wearing tight pleather and sunglasses with a Vanilla Ice haircut if you told me I could get chicks out of it. I'll shave a brick wall and the words "Word to yo mutha" on my fade right now.

Would you wear a cowboy hat and boots and play Madonna songs if it got you chicks?

I live in Texas. I'm pretty sure the "wear boots and cowboy hat playing Madonna songs" market is covered. I'd be that guy's bass tech and take some of his leftovers though.:D

What rig? Oh right, we were talking about amps. That would be a Fender American Standard Jazz.

  17. I don't Jimmy. My Carvin sixes are a sexy as all hell and, as I have three, they back each other up. :)

MMcC, perhaps a little too much of that there Testosterone stuff flowing in the veins huh???
