I was there a few weeks ago and they weren't selling them then.
They might just have added them to their online options and don’t have any in store.
You're probably right, but it looks like they have every bass Sire makes and it says two-day delivery.
Might be the way to go for some...I thought they were out of stock at a number of stores.
Could it perhaps just be a supply chain issue in your specific neck of the woods? Lots of places still not fully stocked on things for that very reason
For at least a year maybe 2. They just don’t keep many in stock in store.
Not in my area that I've noticed...I was talking about what I've read from others. Not just Sire, either.
Regardless, if these basses start showing up at GC in the next month or so, those interested in Sire will be able to play before buying.
I checked one out at the Bridgeton, MO (North St. Louis County,) last June. I think Sire is a good fit for GC.
They just started carrying Mesa products too. My D-800+ I ordered in-store on Sunday, it was delivered yesterday.
Good job Doc!
How was the feel of it compared to the Geddy or the Carvin?
The Sire is its own thing. I have no need for one, but I like them.
Didn’t you own one briefly?
There’s 2 GC’s within 15 minutes of me, they have a gazillion guitars but not many Basses.
I’ve never seen one in the wild, let alone in a store. In fact, I never heard of them until I started hanging around here.
Yes, I liked it too. I traded it for USA SUB Sterling I own.
I give you no credit for that - you could say that about Dr Cheese with any bass brand and have a darn good chance at being right. ;-)
Every GC I walk into has more basses than I do. But I've never been in one that had more basses that I wanted to own than I do.
They started selling them not too long ago. There’s a real greasy one hanging on the wall @ the GC up the street from my house! Gotta love those thick poly finishes lol
I saw them a week ago at the Guitar Center in Plano.
Along with the Southfork Ranch souvenirs?
Is the Brookhollow Inn in Richardson still there?
