    Hi guys&girls!

A few days ago this aforementioned person by the name of NJL, or formerly NoJazzLoco, posted a link to some lefty basses that are for sale. Among those I found this:

LeDuc Masterpiece 6... also, it's in lefty... and for a good price...
    I know I shouldn't, but I can hardly resist...

So tell me these basses are not as good as I think they are and my GAS will go away!
    Please :help:

    Thanks
    :)

    Played a Leduc fretted 6-string.
Bass owned by a friend of mine.
He let me take it on a gig.
One of the nicest playing and sounding basses if ever played.
Have never played another 6-string I liked better than the Leduc.
If I had the money would buy one in a heartbeat.

Leduc's are pretty rare, so you might not find many cats have tried one...

I have played a Leduc Maurad at Atlanta Bass Gallery... Granted it was a 5'er, righty and it didn't have a headstock... It was amazing, Light and very punchy... probably a completely different sounding beast than the one that you are talking about...

There is a Corvette on page 10... wait, that was only 2004... then there was something else, too.

So you got your Corvette from there? Nice. I like mine with the standard spacing, too, converting it to a 5 woould be too wide for me :)

yeah, mine was bought in germany, the original owner broke the neck...paid Magnus Krempel to build two necks for it...a five and six

it made it to the states somehow and i bought it from a dude that couldn't really tell what the woods were on the neck (he assured me that they were ovankol/wenge but here ebony/maple/ebony)....it's an OK bass, but neck dives waaaaaaaaay too much.
