I was just browsing the Musician's Friend web site and looking at their specials. They are selling a Danelectro Bass Pedal Pack for $99.99 ($284.99 list). It comes with a tuner, 7-band EQ, compressor, chorus, reverb, case/pedalboard, power supply, and all patch and power cables.

Would this be something worth buying? I already own a Zoom 607 multi-pedal and I was looking at getting something else effects-wise. I am pretty much a novice at bass and I just mess around with it in my basement in my spare time.
  2. Looks like something you'd get at Mc'donalds with your Happy Meal (tm) but also sounds like a very good offer. I would like mine without the chorus and reverb and french fries instead.:)

I would suggest not doing this.

Instead go out and buy the effects one by one and get good quality effects. Make sure you like them too. Dont just go by word of mouth, because we all have different tastes.

  4. yeah those danelectro minis sound like mung on bass... plus reverb is genreally useless on bass anyway...

Did they actually call it a Bass pedal pack?
I'm pretty sure None of their pedals
were made for Bass, so you're likely to
    be disappointed.

OK, it sounds like I should stay away from it. :)

  7. it can't get worse than a zoom 607, so i'd say try it :)
