    Maybe not THE ugliest, but yes, butt-ugly. :D

    Still kind of cool, though, but I wouldn't buy one.

    I happen to think the Longhorn basses look pretty cool. I'd own one for ****s and giggles if they weren't short scale. I'm not to hip on the DCs or Rumors or anything else, just the Longhorns. And the Hodads. Any bass called the Hodad is ok in my book. :D

    I agree. I don't think I would ever buy a danelectro bass, unless I was rich and could smash the thing.

    man u said it. that long horn looks sooo stupid. everyone of those should be burned, its not like they sound good either; everyone of 'em i played sounded like crap. i dont think lipstick pups should belong on basses anyway

    the longhorn looks stupid, but i think the DC is pretty cool.

    My Hodad has got to be the fugliest bass ever made. The body shape looks like stretched taffy. But I like it.... I don't know why. I bought it for $99, and actually like the way it sounds (at least with all three pickups on). It is so ugly, it is kind of cool.

    I always thought the Hodad was a pretty cool lookin' body shape... but that's just me. I was about to buy a Longhorn (for really cheap), but had to spend the money elsewhere. Such is life.

    Anybody seen Warwick Fortress that looks like a badass Dano? Man, I wish I had to moolah for that...

    i hate danelectro basses.... cept it makes me laugh every time i see a long horn .... i remember that episode of jackass ..... great stuff

    I have a Danelectro Longhorn, I don't play it much anymore but I like the tone it has: cheapness.
