I'm looking to get one of the 90s Korean shorthorn reissues and I had a question about the width of the neck and the string spacing as I've seen conflicting information on this.

Is the neck width/string spacing closer to a fender P bass or a Jazz bass? Or is it even thinner than that, more like a hofner?

If you are referring to the DC bass, the width at the nut is 1 5/8" (about the same as a modern P-bass) but the neck does not really broaden much as you go along, so the string spacing at the bridge is only 16mm vs. the 19mm you would have on a Fender.
