That is a great looking one for sure.
Not if i get it first!!!!!!
damm thats good enough to eat
so, whaddya think guys and gals?
Should you buy the bass? Definitively yes. Should threads like this come to an end? Once again yes (for my own benefit!) My GAS for a Sadowsky is getting out of control!
PS That bass is almost exactly what I would get!
You know what you want to do!!! Just go get the bass!!!
Of course you should. Did you think we'd say otherwise?!
Yep.... we're all enablers here.
now, to convince the wife this is her anniversary gift!
"I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...."
i'm this close:
You... must... resist...
Never mind. Go do it!
The ash maple combination would gently contrast with your alder morado 4 string Sadowsky jazz bass.
But you can wait and even if it's snatched up, that is the kind of bass Roger can always whip up pretty quickly; it's not a once in a lifetime thing like Rader's spalted Mona Lisa of a bass.
JimS, thanks for the comments. everyone else, thanks for the encouragement.
very true about the "mona lisa syndrome" (from which i suffer, no doubt!). but this will fill the natural ash/maple 5 banger jones that i've had for years now.
better a Sad to fill this void than a (ahem)... you know....
and this isn't to say i can't have the 24F - 5'er made with my hawai'ian koa score later.
That was mean!
Go for it !
I've been gawking too long at this one :
It is weird. Those are beautiful basses for sure, but any time I see a 5-string jazz, they just seem odd to me. Guess it is that 4 banger brainwashing acting up again.
Don't gawk, make a move. These basses are so incredible you won't believe you went so long without one. Number one in my book!
