Don't you agree I need another blue bass? Duh. But Daphne or Sonic? The suspense is killing me. What says TB?
Of course it would have a darker grade tort guard. Which blue? Come at me.

Which Sonic Blue, the one Fender should've named Barely Blue?

I voted for Sonic Blue but only if it's Fenders version. I agree that it's barely blue but that's what I like about it. I really love it on the American Vintage RI P-Basses.

Exactly, @jd56hawk !! You're probably feeling my soul-churning dilemma. Even on the Nash color page (great builder) the Daphne is really a "Carolina" blue. It's like the wild west out there. I'm narrowed to 2 builders for a custom and this is the hardest part by far. It's maddening.

Zackly! Nash Sonic is closer to Fender's Daphne. Do I really have to pull out a Pantone chip?

Roxy Blue would've just been called Van Halen Blue.

  14. Mint or tort is the bigger question

For me, that depends on the blue. Sonic gets the mint and Daphne would get tort.

I always liked Velma. She's clever and she's right there rockin' a carrot colored sweater. Is that a tort skirt?

@Killing Floor, Are Velma’s glasses Sonic Blue, or Daphne Blue?
