Hootie's grown up. This sure isn't his acoustic-driven, self-proclaimed "golf rock". I've never really been an R&B fan, but damn, this album is good! Some of the keys and horns are a bit over done, but the bass is nice and solid with some tasty fills scattered about. Darius Rucker has one hell of a voice, and the guest appearences by Jill Scott and Snoop Dogg are nice.
If any one wants to check some songs out, my personal favorites are "Wild One", "Butterfly", "Sometimes I Wonder", "Hold On", and "Exodus", but this whole CD is stellar.

I saw him on BET doing a promo with keys and guitar. Looked like it was in a bookstore or something. Sounded smoothe...peaked my interest a bit. I'd like to hear more.
