OK, here's the ultimate bar room brawler.

    1. 'Relic-ed' 2005 Fender P-bass body. Alder with suburst finish--made at the Fender Baja plant. Medium-light weight. I rubbed it will steel wool to get the finish matte and put some small dings into it. If you want more details, PM me--but just know (A) it looks good to me and (B) cosmetic wear only.

    2. Hammond Dark Star pickup, special order took two months to deliver. The strings line up PERFECTLY with the Fender bridge. This is the standard string-spacing version and I have to say--I mounted it exactly right.

    3. CTS pots and Mallory capacitor wired up by Bayou cables--the harness includes all the components Fred Hammond recommends for these pickups.

    4. Special order black pickguard from WD music.

    5. Fender knobs, Fender Vintage Bridge, Fender Strap pegs.

I had this mounted with a neck I'm keeping and used it on a bunch of gigs over the last three months. It always sounded GREAT. Just selling because I have to pay for a new TV.

Looking to get $375 shipped to the lower 48. PICS:

That means there is about a 90% chance that this bass will end up fretless. And, since it is Tony buying it, there's a good chance it will be up for sale again soon, too. :hyper:
