I wandered into my local music shop today to try some Darkglass pedals and walked out with one of the new M900 V2 amps.

It's a fantastic piece of kit. The B3k and vintage overdrive circuits are built in,w individual clean / dirty volume levels + blend. The compressor they make is included too, along with a 6 band eq. Goes from mild grit to face melting distortion, but keeps the low end.

Dual Di and cab emulation on the back, along with a 2ohm switch. Was love at first sight and can't wait to gig with it at the weekend.

Has anyone else on here picked one up? Any favourite settings?

I ordered one together with a DG210c cab and is ready for pickup at my LMS. Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to pick them up before saturday so I can't comment on settings yet.

Did you already gig with it? If so, how did it perform?

I had it two days and took it back in to the store. Swapped it with the Vintage Ultra pedal, as that was the bit I really liked and the rest of it was a bit surplus to requirements (in my case). It's an incredible piece of kit though. I might well go for the darkglass compressor pedal as well, although the Vintage pedal seems to do a good job of cleaning things up on its own. You won't be disappointed by it. My only reason was that the preamp section out into my GK MB800 fusion gave me everything I needed.

i recorded most of yesterday with the Vintage Ultra. Was able to get a great palette of rock sounds out of it that sat really well in the mixes. I'll def be getting the Alpha Omega ultra at some point too. Let me know how you get on.
