Darkglass Microtubes 900!! what does it sound like clean?

I am considering buying a Darkglass microtubes 900 amp and would like too know more about the sound character of this amp (whithout the overdrive which i already know kicks major ass)

There are some youtube clips but its hard too get a grasp about the character of the amp itself from those videos.

As far as I understand it sounds pretty clean and modern, will it be in the same ballpark as a gallien krueger? I take it its more modern and trebly than the TC Electronic BH 800 which I currently play? The cabinet I use is a Barefaced Super-twin, anyone got experience with the microtubes with this cabinet?

One Final question: Will the preamp-out on the Darkglass 900 make the amp capable as using it as a preamp/overdrive run straight into another amp or DI? Would be awesome too show up at a gig were backline is already provided and be able too use it like if it were a B7k ultra preamp
