Daryll Jones 5 Deception...

    From Canada... there is no way to have Black Daryll Jones until June or July.. and white until Marsh!

    I wanted to sell my MM to buy a Lakland until i have the money to begin my custom built bass..
    But i'll not buy it blue for sure.
    How can you be able to wait all this time when you're so not pleased anymore with your bass!!!

    Anyone want to sell a Black DJ5??

    Bass Central doesn't have any that are on the site.

    They have a black/rosewood 4 but I'm pretty sure that's it.

    That said, Grasshopper was pretty cool when I called about them. He called Lakland and hunted around for what I was looking for, they're just way behind on production.

    Have you called all the dealers listed on the lakland site?

    If not, it'll be worth the wait.

    I got mine from GuitarX, Gary was super friendly and accomodating. Weighed it for me, sent me pics, called me back after hours, yada yada.

    That's Treachery to let people think they can have Bass in 3 or 4 Weeks! :D

    I looked for guitar X but they're in Colorado.. so it's a long way to ship a bass.. im not very good with this..
    No i'm gonna buy it by Bass Central ( thanks to remember that they exist! i forgot this option ) and i'll ask they to ship it to a friend in Atlantic City who's playing in Casino for a month, and he'll take it with it when he'll come back to Montreal in january... so it'll cost me less money, and i'm gonna fell more safety

    that's done and he says that he cannot have other than blue bass before March(white) and black one before June..

    I presold all my blacks 6 months ago....the rule with Lakland Skylines is if you want a specific color combo then flip with a deposit in advance because they are all presold before they are made.

    It's fun to see these things happen on a forum.. I love this forum.. I love being a Bass player!

    but now i'm all fu** up.. cause i took my Stingray for a show last night ( we played Screaming Headless torsos, Yes, Zappa, Lenny Kravitz, Jamiroquai and Stevie Wonder..)
    and O my god my Stingray 5 is a monster on Stage.. but it's my main bass and i don't like it for Studio.. found it to hi-fi.. i wanted a passive tone... that's why i wanted to sell it to buy a Lakland Daryll Jones 5 .. but now i reaaaaly don't know what to do!

    been in his shop many times as soon as get some more cash flow my next bass will be coming from him.

    he just got in some great looking sadowsky metros he knew i wasn't buying but he let me play with them anyway :cool:

    +1 Just got some stuff from him and he has one of the nicest Sadowsky UV70 4 bangers I have ever seen right now! I was REAL close to buying it!
