DAMN, how young are you guy's, I saw Led Zeppelin as a warm up band for the Who in Asbury Park NJ, not sure if it was 68 or 69. I think the first show was the Rascals, might have been 65 or 66, too long ago to remember.

I *might* see Metallica in DC this Summer. Might. It's all about convincing someone to drive you up that far. And getting a certain someone to trust the driver...

If we are talking national acts- Five Iron Frenzy-Oct 2002. They are ending their farewell tour here in denve rthsi fall too :(. for local stuff, Invasionfest 00'. 00 I got my license, so that's when I started going to shows. I can't really bring myself to fork out more than $25 or so for a concert, so I obviously don't see many big acts. :D

EDIT: I forgot about that Skip Devol show I saw when I was 14 or so around 97-98'. He's a nationally known banjo player (yah mos tpeople haven't heard of him, btu he's a hilarious goober onstage, and aone fast pluckin' one at that)

Saw them in the British leg of their tour - about December 2001 at the Ingliston Stadium in Edinburgh!

Now that really was some gig - both bands were brilliant!
