st least we know dave will do a good job
He'll own that role, bitch.
has dave chappelle done any serious acting?
robin hood: men in tights.
i really am not sure.
yeah i was watching a movie the other day in which he had a non comedic role..cant remember what it was.
maybe cuz....it didn't exist!
still..i think its a good choice for the role...i cant really think of anyone else.....i dont think samuel jackson eould be good..nor eddie murphy
well if it's a comedy, but I'm sure it's going to be drama/tragedy knowing his life. I can't see chappelle delivering a great dramatic performance, but who knows. I think samuel jackson would be perfect.
That's terrible. What a totally distasteful "tribute" to a fantastic musician/songwriter. BOO.
And speaking of jokes that have been beaten to death, dragged out into the street, kicked a few times, then hung up on the wall for us to look at for about a year now. My lord, get something new to find funny.
Very very not cool.
Cocaine's a powerful drug!
well rick must of approved it since he was on chappelles show for that skit.....then quoted it at an award ceremony whatever it was...
and it aint no joke matt.....www.rickjames.com
con air he was one of bad guys or something
You've Got Mail <-- not a comedy!
Yeah... actually dave is kind of pissed at that joke... he jokes on it but he is kind of tired of it... i mean his last best of best show was "best of best except rick james" at stand up he said "that joke ruined my life... now every where i go all i see is rick james and aperently i am a bitch"
But i think he can do a good job at it (non comedy)... he is a good actor even though he is comedy... i think he can do it...
PS i think prience was better
i agree with kserg...he's a good actor, AND he was casted for the role BEFORE "im rick james...."
he's got the vibe...he's young..i think sam jackson is gettin to old
Indeed, the Prince skit was much funnier. I mean, c'mon pancakes after kickin' ass at basketball.
Would you like some grapes?
Dave never did the character in a drama, but here is a documentary about Rick:
